Bebek is a Bosphorus-shore neighbourhood of the Beşiktaş district, between Arnavutköy and Rumelihisarı. Most addresses are either on the waterfront along Cevdet Paşa Caddesi, the coastal road, or on the steep streets that climb the hill behind it towards Boğaziçi University's South Campus. Istanbul Airport and Bebek are both on the European side, so there is no Bosphorus crossing on this route. The car comes south on the airport motorway, leaves the main road network around Levent, Etiler or Hisarüstü depending on traffic, and then drops down the hill to the Bebek shore.

Heavy Traffic

The slowest part is usually the coastal road itself. Cevdet Paşa Caddesi is narrow through the centre of Bebek, and on weekend afternoons and summer evenings the cafés and the waterfront park draw heavy traffic. For a departure to IST at those times we plan an earlier pickup.
