KVKK Clarification Text

Usage Note

This text is a general clarification draft under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). Marketing permission and explicit consent must be obtained through separate consent checkboxes from this clarification text.

Categories of Personal Data Processed

Identity and contact information: name, surname, phone number, email address, billing information.

Reservation and travel information: flight code, arrival/departure information, pickup and drop-off address, hotel information, date/time, number of passengers, number of luggage items, special requests.

Payment and financial information: payment method, payment status, transaction reference, invoice/receipt information. Storage of card information may be carried out through the systems of the payment institution; the Company does not store the full card number.

Communication and customer support records: WhatsApp/email correspondence, call notes, complaint and request records.

Transaction security information: IP address, cookie data, website usage records, log records.

Service security and operational information: vehicle/driver matching, operation notes, lost property records, damage/cleaning photos or reports.

Purposes of Processing Personal Data

To receive, confirm, modify or cancel reservations.

To provide transfer, tour, activity, dinner cruise and customer support services.

To carry out payment, collection, invoicing and accounting processes.

To communicate with the customer and provide operational information.

To ensure coordination required for the service with suppliers, drivers, payment institutions and business partners.

To carry out customer satisfaction, complaint management and dispute resolution processes.

To fulfill legal obligations and respond to requests from authorized public institutions.

To send campaign, announcement and marketing communications if explicit consent or legally valid commercial electronic communication permission exists.

Legal Grounds

Personal data is processed within the scope of the establishment and performance of a contract, fulfillment of legal obligations, establishment/exercise/protection of a right, legitimate interest, explicit consent of the data subject and other legal grounds stipulated under the relevant legislation.

Transfer of Personal Data

Personal data may be shared, to the extent necessary for the provision of the service, with drivers, vehicle suppliers, tour/activity/dinner cruise suppliers, payment institutions, accounting and financial advisory service providers, software/hosting/communication infrastructure providers, cargo/courier services, lawyers, consultants and authorized public institutions.

If any transfer of data abroad is required, actions will be taken in accordance with KVKK and the relevant legislation; where necessary, explicit consent or appropriate safeguard mechanisms will be applied.

Method of Collecting Personal Data

Data may be collected electronically or physically through website forms, payment screens, WhatsApp, telephone, email, social media, reservation platforms, supplier systems, cookies and records obtained during the provision of the service.

Retention Period

Personal data is retained for the period required by the purpose of processing and for the limitation, accounting, tax, commercial and dispute retention periods stipulated under the relevant legislation. At the end of this period, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

Rights of the Data Subject

Under Article 11 of KVKK, data subjects have the right to learn whether their personal data is being processed, request information if it has been processed, learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose, know the third parties to whom the data has been transferred, request correction if the data has been processed incompletely or inaccurately, request deletion/destruction, request notification of these actions to third parties to whom the data has been transferred, object to a result arising against them through automated analysis, and request compensation for damages due to unlawful processing.
